If you were not blind, you’d never survive

The photographs were taken in Helsinki on February 17th.

Today I commuted by car, train and metro. This would have been an excellent day for commuting by bicycle, but that wasn't possible. For tomorrow the forecast promises some new snow, but I hope it isn't so much as to prevent riding the bicycle.

(Posting title is from the poem A blind man was riding an unheated train by Arseny Tarkovsky, translated from the Russian by Philip Metres and Dimitri Psurtsev.)
