My soul of flesh and blood puts a long thread in the needle's eye

The photographs were taken on November 4th.

Yesterday we had snow. This morning almost all had melted away. It was raining. I walked almost two hours along the paths and across the fields in Petikko. There were two cars at the parking place. I met a man and two dogs.

The amount of flooding is quite remarkable. Some paths that I remember being quite passable even during spring flooding are now difficult to walk even if you have tall rubber boots.

In the USA the brain-eating disease known as Donald Trump is approaching the final stages of lunacy.

Fine images, Juha, especially the dark, brooding closer view of the tower.

And no, I will not comment on the activities of the unmentionable one. It is just too depressing.

Thanks, Markus!

The weather has been recently dark and brooding, or at least potent for causing such feelings. There are quite a lot of such photographs coming up. I guess they fit the dark season. But on the other hand, it is only a couple of weeks and the days start to get longer.

And when the unmentionable one is behind bars, that will be a day to celebrate.
