Let your head go, just let go

The photographs were taken at Niihama outdoor area in Tampere on September 9th.

This morning while walking I thought about the catastrophe of Trump and his minions. Trump's inferiority complex is vast and deep (maybe a world record), and everything he does is compensation for it. In fact there is a book discussing this topic (among others), A Clear and Present Danger: Narcissism in the Era of President Trump by Steven Buser et al. One could argue that the inferiority complex is the biggest danger we are facing right now in the world.

But straight I saw motions of lightning grace

The photographs were taken at Niihama outdoor area in Tampere on September 9th. It was a rainy day, and few people were out walking. This was the first time to visit Niihama, but probably not the last.

So far this year I have got 5,005 km riding the bicycle.

Ponder the difference between want and need?

The photographs were taken at Tremanskärr on September 3rd.

Weather has been rather dry this week, temperature at 10-15 °C. Not bad for riding the bicycle.

That lonely passion of the rain

The photographs were taken at Tremanskärr on September 3rd.

My waterproof cycling jacket is worn out, after three years. I have used it during the cool season, including the cold winter days, when I have just added layers underneath. Due to a couple of falls in slippery conditions there were some holes in the fabric, but now the seams are starting to come apart. And also my windproof full finger gloves need to be replaced. I did some net shopping and found replacements. I hope the sizes are ok.

All of us trying to be alone

The photographs were taken at lake Myllyjärvi south of Luukki on September 2nd.

Is there any error Donald Trump is not willing to make to boost his ego and further his money-grabbing?

Leaving just a memory

The photographs were taken at lake Myllyjärvi south of Luukki on September 2nd.

Today I walked for almost three hours at Torronsuo swamp and Liesjärvi National Park. It was foggy in the morning, changing the landscape. I saw three cranes, and tasted cranberries and lingonberries. After the fog disappeared, crickets made noise, and a lizard warmed up in the sunshine.

Sharply etched in the crystalline air

The photographs were taken at lake Myllyjärvi south of Luukki on September 2nd.

Autumn colors are starting to appear, little by little. This morning the temperature was 6 °C, and there was some fog. Perfect for a walk with a camera.

And I am the one who brought it to an end

The photographs were taken at lake Hepolampi south of Luukki on September 2nd.

This morning I walked for two hours in Luukki, west of Ketunkorpi, exploring the swamps. I got one deer fly.

And feel and its clean smell have satisfied

The photographs were taken while walking around lake Suolikas in Nuuksio on August 28th.

I commuted by bicycle today. Since the beginning of May I have got 3,000 km riding the bicycle, and 4,871 km since the beginning of this year. I think 6,000 km may be possible by the end of the year, depending on road conditions (i.e. whether snow comes early).

And they make her wooden ones

The photographs were taken at lake Suolikas in Nuuksio on August 28th.

In the beginning of this week it was cold, 3 °C in the morning. Now it is warming up. It has been nice to commute by bicycle.

Cause you’re just too kind to see

The photographs were taken at lake Suolikas in Nuuksio on August 28th.

Trump made a speech at UN today. I wish it would be possible to un-make it.

No storm since has been framed

The photographs of giant's kettles were taken at Sipoonkorpi National Park on August 26th.

Is there something more to be said of Donald Trump's egomania? Or the fact that USA may be permanently darkened by white supremacy to such a degree that humanity is in danger of disappearing.

To see them huddled together in a heap

The photographs were taken at Sipoonkorpi National Park on August 26th.

I have been following what happens with Trump in the USA. The con man tries to swindle everyone, but there is a limit how long such a show can last. Of course, probably 1/4 of the people are such that they can be defrauded again and again, but as long as the rest know the truth that should be enough to stop the madness.

Where walls between all beings

The photographs were taken at Sipoonkorpi National Park on August 26th.

This morning I explored Petikko, riding the bicycle and walking for two hours. It was quiet, and autumn colors start to be quite visible.

Do you love trees?

The photographs were taken at Sipoonkorpi National Park on August 26th.

I have got 4,694 km riding the bicycle so far this year, of which 2,824 km since the beginning of May. Last year I got 6,500 km, and this year I might reach 6,000 km.

Strained by treetops

The photograph was taken at Vaakkoi on August 19th.

This week has been wet. Luckily today I didn't get soaked while commuting by bicycle.

A swaying clarity which blindly echoes

The photographs were taken by lake Saaren-Musta at Vaakkoi on August 19th.

What can one say about the craziness that is rampant in the world? There was a news item about a Finn serving in British Army who was arrested for neo-Nazi activity. Where do these people come from? Are all Finns potential terrorists?

Against the cracks of weeds and webs

The photographs were taken at Vaakkoi on August 19th.

This morning I used the bicycle light first time this autumn. It was raining heavily, and I wanted to be seen. There were some cyclists wearing black clothing riding a black bicycle. I wonder how they will survive the dark season.

They just can't be serious

The photographs were taken on August 19th at Vaakkoi.

Today was a somewhat sunny day, but the rest of the week promises a lot of rain. Leaves are falling off trees. Thus the roads will be slippery when riding the bicycle, and one needs to be careful when braking.
