They praised positive thinking

The photographs were taken on January 17th in Helsinki.

This morning I walked for two hours at Oittaa, going across lake Sorlampi. There were skiing tracks along the bigger paths, but also plenty of smaller paths for walking.

Should I say something about the baby-carrot fingers, who is being manipulated by unscrupulous scumbags. Well, perhaps not today. In any case, have a look at the video America first, Finland second. It is a story about women and pies, among other Finnish things.

(Posting title is from the poem I did something I could never discuss by Paul Foster Johnson.)

Loved the video... laughed out loud!

I guess the best way this American can deal with the embarrassment is with humor.

Indeed, it feels that we have got into a situation where humor is the thing that saves the day.

More on the cynic side is Austria, here: Austria Second

Markus, it is hard not to be a cynic these days. Fortunately there are people who have the will and skill to use satire and irony to ridicule the orange creeper and his horrific administration.
