A sonnet might be made of it

This morning I walked for two hours, exploring the swamps in the north part of Vaakkoi. For some reason there were no mosquitoes or other biting things, perhaps due to sunshine and wind, and the dry weather we have had recently.

These photographs were taken at Vuokatti on July 24th.

(Posting title is from the poem Sonnet in Search of an Author by William Carlos Williams.)

-there is a song by one Eskimo called amazing. and I hear it sometimes in the background while I'm scrolling through your beautiful photographs... -makes vivid what the week made vague.. "Thank you!". -blessings!

Thanks!

While going through the photographs taken during the trip to Tahko, Vuokatti and Koli, I have been thinking that there was too little time to really get to know the places, to be able to take photographs that would catch the feeling of the landscape. But one can try to see better the next time.
