Flitting to a branch where

This morning I went to Sipoonkorpi National Park, to the parking place at Byabäcken. I explored the forests north of the road. This time I had a compass with me, but still I got somewhat lost in the same place as yesterday, a dense fir forest with fallen trees littering the forest floor.

I walked to lake Kantorsträsk, circled around the lake, and explored the forests east and southeast of the lake. I returned via Ylenkärr and Knikaskärr, where there are grass fields, and some sheep were grazing near the parking place.

The photographs of Prunus sargentii were taken on May 11th.

(Posting title is from the poem Mechanism by A. R. Ammons.)
