Grant in this obscurity a little light

We are having variable weather, sun is shining but we are also having clouds and occasional rain. It isn't warm either. For the next week the forecast promises temperatures between +7...+18 °C.

Variable weather isn't uncommon, as you can see in the two photographs taken in Meiko on May 31st.

Yesterday evening I read descriptions of the Kytäjä-Usmi wilderness area in Hyvinkää, after visiting it the first time. Apparently two pairs of Gavia stellata nest there yearly, which is a lot as it is estimated that only ten pairs in all are nesting in the Uusimaa region around Helsinki. And thus it isn't quite that common to see three different nesting pairs at three different lakes, as I did earlier this summer, in Vaakkoi, in Nuuksio, and in Luukki.
