Fertile ground between shouting and silence

Well, today I'm feeling blue, and thus these photographs which were taken at Kurkijärvi lake in Tremanskärr on January 11th. It was a day when it finally started to get colder here in Finland, and we even got a couple of mm of snow that day, putting some white color on the landscape. There isn't much more snow today either - about 2-3 cm - but the feeling of winter is established soundly.

The last photograph is remarkable mostly because it is a handheld photograph at 3.2 second exposure. I didn't lean on anything, standing normally, and while I was taking this photograph the camera visibly moved. But thanks to the miracles of image stabilization (and luck) the photograph is surprisingly sharp. You can check the EXIF info here.
