They say they still can’t see

These photographs were taken yesterday in Helsinki, while moving from one place to another. I'm getting more and more exposure problems with the LX5. The control wheel is stuck and I'm unable to change the aperture. Thus I'm stuck in the widest aperture. The combination of ISO 80, f/2 and 1/2000 s results in overexposure when it is sunny.

It may be that I have to resort to opening up the camera, but cleaning the control wheel seems to be far from easy, as one needs to disassemble most of the camera before reaching there.

(Posting title is from the poem Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou.)

Not sure if you'll see this comment because it's for an old post. However, there's a post on DPR today about fixing the LX5 thumbwheel problem : http://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/3471559

Thanks, Peter, this could be something to try out although I'm a bit unsure whether this really works, and it also could damage the camera. But as a last resort...
