The third story will give us reason to dance

The temperature has stayed above 0 °C for several days, and the depth of snow is still going down, now it is at 30 cm. It feels a bit like spring. These photographs were taken on Wednesday while going for a walk in a forest nearby.

The rain and melting snow have generated floods in the forest, and you have to be careful where you step if you are not wearing tall rubber boots. The next days should be colder, and maybe it will start feeling like winter again.

(Posting title is from the poem The Powwow at the End of the World by Sherman Alexie.)
