Then water enters, though it makes no sound

Today we had the closing ceremony at the school of the children. We celebrated at home, and then the children went out to play.

I decided to go for a long walk. It has been some time since I have explored the forests at Luukki, and today I had a nice time walking around the three lakes Väärälampi, Mustlampi and Halkolampi.

It was wet, since it had been raining all nigth and also in the morning, but the sky was clearing up during afternoon.

Here are some photographs taken during the walk, of water and water-related things. I'll post some more photographs in a separate posting.

(Posting title is from the poem Portrait of a Figure near Water by Jane Kenyon.)
