The sloppy needlepoint of lilacs in the breeze

Today I did a lot of stuff, except for taking photographs. Maybe tomorrow is better. But we had a nice time with the daughters, spending time in a shop for arts and crafts supplies. The original reason for going there was to get things needed for making kites, but other stuff also was of great interest to the children. To my surprise there were a couple of other men besides myself in the store, I was expecting an all-female environment.

(Posting title is from the poem Younger Woman Shopping for a Blouse by Laura Kasischke.)
