No other way but to stand firm on ice

Another thing that is is to be found in hilly forests is ice, as the water is still seeping on the ground, under the snow, on top of rock.

@Paul: I have found that some poems open up the meaning of photographs; there is a deep connection. But this happens all too rarely.
