Winter light

Sun is setting later and later, now at about 5 pm, which is a big change from December. I went skiing with our youngest daughter, who is very keen on it, and took a couple of photographs on the way.

Fine photos as usual Huha.

I always forget how far north you are . I live near Edmonton, Canada; famous for being the most northerly large city in North America. These days the light is good here until well past six and the temperature is starting to average around -10C during the day time.

The temperature seems to be there the same as here, -10 °C. But yes, we are quite north here, although our winters are not quite so severe, thanks to occasional warm fronts coming in from the Atlantic. This winter the eastern (Siberian) weather has perhaps dominated a bit more than usually.
