Here is a three-photo mini-story from today, taken by the lake Lammaslampi at noon. It was such a nice Sunday in the middle of winter. It didn't matter that it is still one week to the darkest day of the year.
There was ice on the ground, making walking a bit difficult. Some snow was still remaining.
But the nice thing was that the sun occasionally showed up, almost like giving signs that it hasn't given up on us here in the north.
